Melanie (Mel) qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in July 2000 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. She initially worked in Stratford-Upon-Avon before returning to Cornwall in 2003.

Mel joined The Bay Dental Practice in 2006, where she has been instrumental in providing a caring and conscientious service that helps improve and maintain excellent dental health. She started at The Bay when her son, Callum, started primary school, he’s now in his twenties!

It was a fairly small team at the practice when she started. Over the years the practice has grown and the team has changed but it has given her the opportunity to meet and work alongside lots of lovely people.

When she’s not at work, Mel enjoys cookery, walking her dog Grace (Cockapoo), pilates, and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.
